I've always been a little fascinated with the character of Medea from Greek Mythology. Jason wouldn't have got anywhere near that Golden Fleece if it hadn't been for her. They get married, have kids and then he abandons her as soon as he finds a princess with a better deal. In her grief, she goes mad and murders their sons. Got to love those Greeks.
Nice! I've been listening to the IIliad the past few days, and yes those Greeks are quite crazy.
