Sarah Gay - "A Face Only a Mother Could Love"

I know this isn't a typical interpretation of, "a face only a mother could love".

When I was 19 I signed my inexperienced, young, naive, name to my student loans thinking I was borrowing $50k for college...little did I know that they would inflate to over $200k before I was 30 years old.

Albert Lord (former CEO of Sallie Mae) is the face to this ugly company...and I don't even know how this man can look at himself in the mirror, knowing he has robbed an entire generation the chance to:
- own a home
- have children

- etc.

So I figure...
He must have a face that only HIS mother can love...because he's a greedy piece of shit.

    1. Thank you
I know it's not incredibly fun. But it certainly was cathartic :)

    2. Love can be pretty serious sometimes, so you're in good. Haha.

  2. I could FEEL the energy behind this one! Well said! My mind also spun around with the concept of depicting some of the corporate psychopaths that ruin our economy and precious planet.

    1. Ah yes, you will enjoy this: http://52shadesofgreed.com/

I would love to continue with this idea- exposing an illustrated underbelly of these corrupt, yes, totally psychotic, corporate suits...

The news doesn't shed enough truth about how significantly horrible these people are.
As artists, I think it would be awesome to pursue this :)

Sometimes a visual voice can speak louder than a verbal one.

      :)

      Thanks for the love everyone!
