The Dark Tower Series by Stephen King is my favorite book series of all time. The fact that Roland Deschain is so emotionally detached at the start of the tale and by the end, transforms into a feeling human being, is fascinating to me. Someone who has learned to be alone for so long, accepts friendship, as well as the ability to love and depend on other people again. And I think that's a great kind of love story.
I love this story! And that you did it. Marry me, but in the past so my wife doesn't get mad.

ReplyDeleteMan- I really need to get started on this series. I love Stephen King's stories but his writing keeps getting in the way of my finishing any of his longer works (except for Eyes of the Dragon). But I've heard so many good things about the Gunslinger, I need to suck it up I think.
